Aaron Moore brings 17 years of experience in governance, conflict, and humanitarian relief. Aaron began his career working in administrative roles at the White House and on Capitol Hill before moving to the NGO sector. His 14 years with NGOs include 10 years overseas in Mexico, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq with short term support to other countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. His NGO roles included M&E, program implementation, inter-agency coordination, operations, business development, and country director, where he led teams of up to 500 people and portfolios of up to $70M/yr. Most recently, Aaron served as the Executive Director for NCCI, the NGO forum providing collective representation for over 190 NGOs and their 20,000 staff in Iraq. Aaron now lives in the Washington, DC area and serves with DPI as the Program Manager for LACLEARN while also supporting DPI's Business Development. He is fluent in Spanish and holds a B.S. in International Business, an M.A. in International Security, and an M.S. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution.
